Anyone know where i can get SM5 parts?

im looking to get Samsung-Renault SM5 (a close cousin/brother to the maxima in Korea) parts. im trying to get the full interior woodgrain (for manual AC if they have it) off the SM5. anyone know any ways to get SM5 parts? If youre fluent in Korean and have a Korean SSN perhaps thru their forums? http://www.sm5club.net/

btw? you think the US maxima woodgrain is the same exact color?

I don't think the woodgrain is the same color as ours. My woodgrain was more glossy than what that appears to be. That may look like a little darker wood too.

I few of the I30 guys tried to source some parts a year or so ago. It took us forever to get nowhere. I wanted the center console and grille. No dice.

Foreign ebay or yahoo auction sites may be your best bet, but you need a translator.

It is a greenish-grey color that looks weird in different light.

Looks like the door panels are gonna be a problem. The trim on US Maxes only covers the door lock surround, not the armrest like the pic.

Most likely, the connectors are the same, so if you sourced the whole panel AND the switches/trim, you should be fine.

Why not get the Nissan Cefiro interior pieces, just because all you want is the woodgrain..

EDIT: I just realized the climate is different, so nvm. I've seen some Cefiro's with our style climate though in the past. So..

+1 to the center console. Last I heard, TJMax said he was going to try importing some of this stuff with the help of Paradox..

so no one can get on the sm5 forums? i just need to find woodtrim that fits manual AC control.

im thinking if the colors of the woodtrim are the same as US, then i would only need the AC and vent piece, and perhaps the guage woodtrim.

plus the cefiro woodtrim on the vent (top piece) is not complete/full woodgrain as the SM5 one

NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY THE US WOODTRIM ENDS SHORT IN THE CENTER CONSOLE AREA. IT BUGS THE HELL OUTTA ME.

Bro, you don't need the sm5 woodgrain trim to get woodgrain all the way to the top. There are plenty of places that offer aftermarket REAL wood grain kits to the top. Some do, some don't. Everything you're looking for (woodgrain trim wise) is available here in the states. And you'll have a million choices in woodtrim color. You're not looking hard enough. And I agree, the woodtrim does need to go all the way to the top.
