IACV or TB

Whats a good indication that u need to clean/replace your IACV or TB?

Thought my stutering was due to bad gas but now it's back again..... starting to agrivate me because it makes me look like a moron driving. No codes on the CEL.

Take them off, if they're dirty clean them. If your car is running rough and stalling constantly, replace them. But definitely clean them first, I doubt you'll have to replace them

if you dont know when last it was cleaned/inspected, and you havent done it. Its time.

rough idle is a indication that the TB could used cleaning, same with the IACV, but be prepaired, you could end up cleaning them both squeeky clean but your problem still persists. Its still good to knock out the TB and iACV anyway

Starting to think it's the TBP sensor, but before i do that i'm going to clean both. The thing is the TBPS doesn't match the one in the sticky, it's single connector not 2 connector, so i have no clue how to test it. Still going to take the time tomorrow and take both the TB and IACV off and clean them.

Tried some more diagnosing today and seems like if i go to WOT then come down the problem starts, jittery throttle, stalling when clutch is in, idle at 500 or lower, stalling... If i let the car cool off then start it up again and go from there, everything is fine.

leave the throttle position sensor alone. they rarely go so dont mess with it. do no adjust your throttle cables or your idle screw either. if you say the problem occurs when the car is warmed up, it is most likely your coolant temperature sensor. do clean the TB and IAC Valve and make sure you use new gaskets.

Take off the TB, and the IACV and clean both very good. Take off the Metal Cap on the IACV and clean all inside there. Clean Both sides of the Throttle plate.

Check in after you clean both and reset your ECU after your done cleaning !!

Checked most of them but not all, they all seemed fine, either way it's maintenance i need to do to know where i am with the car. will check the remaining few tomorrow when i do the HAI and clean the TB. The weird thing is that it only does it when i get on the throttle a little, if i drive normal then no problem.
