Lexus GS400 Before/after: PC, Menzerna Intensive and Final, NXT (15 pictures; 5.92MB)

I got this Lexus last Saturday and the paint was in poor condition.I touched up all the chips and scratches. Afterwards, I ordered a PC and Menzerna polishes, and used my Clay Magic bar and the remainer of my NXT wax. The results are still shocking to me everytime I look at the car. Enjoy the pictures.

The paint is so extremely smooth. It took out most of the scratches and made the shine so deep. Thanks for looking.

The exhaust tips were rusty, dirty and grimey. This is the result from 2000 grit sanding and Mother's metal polish.

Nice Job whazzzzuup! How could someone with a Lexus treat it like that? Now you know why so many people wouldn't be without a PC (or rotary).

Nic job on the engine bay, too.

If the owner couln'nt maintain the outside engine chances are there were no motor oil.

There was a window sticker reminder on the corner of the windshield. The oil was regularly changed.

Maybe the guy worked on a consruction site where he was in and out of dust every day.

There are plenty of people that have never even seen the engine bay in their car but keep up with a regular tune-up schedule.

Fantastic Job!! I'm pondering whether to get a PC or go all out on a rotary. This really proves that you can do amazing things with a PC!

I spent Saturday detailing & getting pinstripes off of my friend's Avalon. That is a pain in the ****!

Very nice job. I use the Menzerna polishes too and they certainly do rock the house don't they! I also use the power gloss every once in a while for the really bad spots. Good stuff. Anyway.....enjoy your new and spanky clean ride. Too bad it's going to be covered in pollen soon, mine already is....grrrrrrr...

Get a PC first, then a rotary. I have and use both depending on how bad the paint is on the cars I detail.

VERY nice man! A thousand times better!! Love it, black looks soo nice...white is so hard to clean.

Wait, you did that by hand? or by PC? Im confuzzled, Im tired too...I have been trying out some different processes to get the scratching out of my hood and roof, and a few other spots but have had no avail. I have gotten sections out on the hood, but have found that the speed of the movememtn isnt as important as the pressure...as in, if I use some pressure by hand, I get better results than with my buffer...And these arent buffing scratches, theyre from a dirty sponge. Any tips?

So is black. My car gets dirty even when you leave it parked in a garage.
