So this is how it ends.

This is how it started http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=141585

and this is how it ends, tomorrow the car will be leaving to go to its new owner. It took over a year to sell it and I spent the last two days with the help of Juan finishing up all the loose ends that I had to do.

I got to do almost everything I had planned for this car with the exception of the wheels and BBK but Im glad I didnt sink that additional 5k into the car. Its been about 6 years from the day I bought the car as a parts car for my 91gxe and everyone here told me what a rare gem I had found and convinced me to fix it and sell the GXE. And even though I put well over $25,000 in this car and didnt recoup a quarter of it, its still been worht it because of I've made some great friends over the years.

So here are the last pictures Ill ever take of my maxima

end of the road

I would have to agree on the seats, also like the dash trim. Was that something you ordered or did yourself?

I do mind you asking. It would be rude of me to discuss that with anyone besides the buyer.

Oh.. Jason.. What kind of steering wheel cover is that? I gotta get a new one before Maxus, otherwise I'm going to be laughed out of there with my ghetto patchy leather wheel.

I figured it was Wheelskins, but had to ask anyway. I haven't seen any out there with the red thread.. guess it wouldn't be that hard to just swap that out myself anyway with a regular black cover. (so it'll match these.. http://blehmco.com/pics/car/interior/shifter.jpg )

you better get it here before I turn the carport into a room...if not you will have to wait a while until I build my new shop.

I am almost finished with my current project and then I am painting David P's car. I had planned on enclosing the carport after that but I can wait until I do one more car .

Edit...can I paint it like the car in your sig...please

We're putting in a bid on a house right now.. soon as we move and finances are settled again, I'll be sending it to you...

If you don't have time before you close in the carport, I can always load it up with 2x4s and plastic and send it your way.
