Lower Radiator Hose Came Off

And yes, it was while I was driving.

There is no damage to the car. I just happened to catch it before it even got into the HOT range. Shut it down and was close enough to home to push it the rest of the way (about 100 feet; I was at the end of a flu and my own body temp rose to about 101 within 90 minutes of pushing the car, though).

Just putting this out there as a warning for the rest of you DIY-ers: Make sure you get your hose clamps tight enough when you change your radiator (or thermostat, or hoses, or... Whatever). In my case, it was 20 minutes of work to reconnect the hose and refill, AFTER the car had cooled off (don't put a bunch of antifreeze and water into a hot engine, EVER) and I was on my way.

I got lucky. You might not be as lucky. TIGHTEN THOSE CLAMPS WELL. There's a reason Nissan puts 'em on that tight. I always thought it was too tight; I've changed my mind.

It took about 4 months for the hose to slip off, in case you're wondering.

yeah when my upper rad hose cracked open, it just covered the engine everywhere, and just looked like a cloud driving down the street.
