FS: Krazr/ KRZR phone

I got a new KRZR 2 weeks ago, but decide I don't want it and am upgrading. The going price seems to be $150, so that's what I'll ask. I did use it for 2 weeks, but I kept the safety wrap on it, so it's still in perfect condition. My network is Verizon, but as far as I can tell this phone should work for any network. Check with your network first to make sure it is compatible.

FYI: if it's for the Verizon network...it won't work for ANY other network

Have you been using it since you originally posted this or no? If you feel like going lower, let me know.

D'oh. I was hoping it would work for others. Do you know the reason for this?

I haven't used it since I posted this, I'm using something else now. I should mention that I still have the box, manuals and accessories.
I'm flexible on the price as well, if you're interested shoot me a PM and we can work something out.

I suppose it's a black color. Not sure what the official name is. I would like to get no less than $130 for it since it is brand new essentially.

It could technically be activated on Sprint also but it wouldn't be easy to get all the Sprint services on it. Verizon and Sprint are CDMA technology and Cingular and T-Mobile are GSM technology. It is never possible to activate a GSM phone on a CDMA carrier and vice versa.

Exactly. However, Alltel is also a CDMA network. Free bump!

Activating a verizon phone on another cdma network MAY be possible... but you CAN'T activate an alltel or sprint phone onto the verizon network.

Sprint will NOT activate any phone that does not have a sprint logo. They know which are thiers by the ESN.

The phone will work on alltel, and can be used on other CDMA networks depending on knowledgeable service techs in your area. For the price your asking its a good deal.

Bump for a good deal....

Not always true. Some companies, take sprint for example, now keep a record in their system of all ESN's that belong to them. If you call and try to activate a verizon Q (for example), no matter WHAT you do to that phone, they will not activate it because it is not one of theirs ie it has no sprint logo.

It doesnt matter what you do to that phone, it will never activate on sprint. The sprint system does not even allow it, it doesnt happen and it cant.

I sold sprint, verizon, nextel, tmobile and cingular from age 16-21 and i spend alot of time working with cell phones and you cant use a phone simply because its unlocked. Some cases, yes, but not all. Insulting other members of the board when they disagree with you doesnt change that.

I agree, Sprint can and only will activate Sprint made phones.

1)I can however buy a Verizon, or any other cdma phone go pay $50 have my Sprint phone line put on that phone. Because it is illegal to write esn's and the guy like to cover his @ss, he takes your other phone so there is not 2 phones out with duplicate esn's. Hence Verizon on Sprint.

2)I insulted him, because he insulted me(I actually stated a fact). You dont tell other people that what they just said was crap because they themselves dont know crap. But he is 19 and clueless.

3)I've been self employed and owned and sold all carriers for the past almost 15 years now, almost as long as hes been alive, hence the saying "older than you by ONE day, more knowledgeable than you by ONE year"

4)People shuold only speak when they have something informative and true to say, otherwise stay quiet, think about what you say b4 you say it.
