3rd Gen on Pimp My Ride!!!

Oh god!!! I was browsing the channels the other day and i stopped to watch the pimp my ride edition where they check back to see what cars look like post-pimping. Well at the end of the show they do a preview of the new season and sure enough they are doing a 3rd gen Maxipad... May the car gods have mercy on its soul!

O well just thought id let ya'll know.

Lol, can't wait for that one. I wonder what they'll think when they find out what the aftermarket has to offer in terms of "pimping" our cars

Saw them do a second gen wagon one time. Can't remember exactly what they did but it was a chick's car. They usually do too much of course.

The Guy was parting that Max out some months back on Craigslist but said he couldn't show pics until the show aired..

He was selling the wheels 19 or 20's which he said rubbed and stereo stuff.

That one from the first season was a 1st gen, not 2nd. Ezra was the guy's name and he thought it was funny how his car didn't know if it was a Datsun or a Nissan I think he thought they were two completely different makes.

Nice to hear there's a 3rd gen commin up, it'll be fun to see how much of a junker it is when they pick it up and what they choose to do with it.. Hopefully they don't make it ugly.

Junker? I doubt they'll help at all. My cousin had the 85 blazer and sure it looked kick *** with a lift and 9 tv's in the floor but it had some driveshaft problem and an oil leak. The frist thing they said was "you should fix the driveshaft asap" when they gave her back the truck.

Oh well at least our cars will be a little more desirable. If you need a parts car buy it before that airs....

Thats why I'd think it'd be awesome to see a 3rd gen on Overhaulin'. But the only cars I remember seeing are domestics. That's the problem with Pimp My Ride. Hardly do I EVER see them do any engine work. Only once did I see them put on a turbo! With all that junk they put in a car, I can't imagine the gas mileage it would get, especially if it's already underpowered. And a third gen on Pimp My Ride? I've already seen some baaaad hacked up 3rd gens in the street, imagine now. It'll be shame if it's a VE-5.

To tell the truth the only thing I remember for certain is that it was a wagon.

It's okay, I'm sure they will only screw up a VG powered maxima

And PMR has done at least two engines. The put a turbo VW engine and a Roush racing 427 in an old Cougar.

It would be even better if they pimped out a VE and it ticked like a **** when the owner was driving away...

The show is wonderful, Thanks!
The show helps a lot of people who can't afford to fix their vehicles themselves. I would like Xzibit and MTV to pimp my ride. I have a 1993 Nissan Maxima, that I've owned for 7 years. I had an accident October 25, 2005 and hadn't had time nor money to get it fixed, Please help. It's a great car and it was the first one I bought on my own. Please contact me!
all right who was it?

I wonder if they at least upgrade the alternator and wiring to handle all the stuff they put in there. I'd hate to have a PMR car with dimming headlights...
