300zx seats in a max?

I hate my front seats, plain and simple. I was wondering if the 300zx seats would fit right in, or what would I have to do to get them in there? I think they're a good choice due to similar design from Nissan, better bolster, and more comfort.

if they don't fit, what should be done to make them fit, different rails, etc... anyone done this yet?

If you are putting in the work don't use 300ZX seats. Go with something better.

I'm just looking for something affordable and better than what I have.

I would be suprised if you could find a pair in decent shape for cheap. They get extremely ragged (especially the drivers seat). G20 seats are better than the Z32's IMO. I only comment because I was very close to doing the Z32 seats and spent much time looking and pricing.

Try to browse some other forums where people may be parting or swapping to racing seats.
