apexi neo tuning

hi, i was looking at purchasing an apexi neo, found an amazing price, pretty much paying the same price as a used vafc2, well my question is i want to tune my A/F what else do i need? i know i need a wideband o2, but do i need JUST the sensor, or do i need the whole deal? cuz the sensor is only 79 dollars, where the whole set varies from 300-500, so any help is appreciated, thanks

You need the controller as well. The WBo2 sensor is useless by itself.

Unless the NEO can be 'fooled' like the VAFC (32 points total then)

basically i can get the neo for dirt cheap, is it even worth it, or should i just get the zietronix, i was looking at the innovative but its a huge controller, and i want something mounted where i can keep an eye on the a/f.

Ok, so you get any of the widebands you mentioned. Now what? because you're running rich? Get both, have fun playing with that AFR curve.

The Innovate LM-1 is a huge controller.... the LC-1 is bite size. I have my LC-1 mounted in the engine bay (ziptied to the firewall) and ran the wires into the cabin.

If you want to keep an eye on your A/F, you'll need a guage. If you decide to go with Innovate, you have two choices.... the digital XD-16 (what I have) or their basic analog gauge. My gauge is mounted on the steering column.

Check out Innovate, PLX, Zeitronix, AEM, FJO for monitoring/datalogging your A/F.
Consider a SAFC-II, or VAFC-II to manipulate your A/F.
