this might seem like a dumb question, but i have a 4th gen maxima and i want to know if i can just put a 5th gen side skirt on my 4th gen maxima or do i have to modify a 5th gen sideskirt to fit my 4th gen?

 

I think I've heard that they are longer, so they won't be a direct fit. I would just buy some that fit and not worry about making them fit. Save money, time, and most likely frustration.

 

yeah they are longer then the 4th gens

 

the reason that i wanted to know was because i like the 5th gen sideskirts, i don't really like the 4th gen side skirts. the 5th gen side skirts have a better shape and the appear to look lower to the ground.

uuuggggh if you are talking about Stillen side skirts the 4th and 5th Gen's look identical. if you want to go with bigger ones check out Ionic Dynamics because they sell bigger skirts than Stillen. there is no point in modifying the 5th gen skirts because it will be a big mess and won't look good, not to mention A LOT of work.
