This y-pipe was bought and installed on my 95 Maxima in July of 2000, and I have had no problems with it, have passed CA smog with it 2 times without issue. I removed it as I plan on selling the car at the end of this year and I am returning the car to stock.

I am asking $200 plus shipping for the part, payable via PayPal. I will post pictures if requested, but there is no damage to the pipe and it is in good shape.

 

Cali spec?

 

I don't think there is any difference for 95-98 Maxima's between Fed and CA, but my car was purchased in California, and would meet any California Smog requirements, and I had no problems with it.

i believe there is a difference between the fed and cali spec cars for y pipes so people should know that. If I knew for sure if it was a fed I would def buy but I believe it is cali.

 

Honestly, I am unsure if there is a difference between Cali and Fed Spec. On Cattman's Website, there is only one listed for 95-98 and in 99 is when they start breaking them apart as different, and they specifically state All:

Definately a fed spec. On a cali spec ypipe, the front tube doesn't curl up, it stops before the bend.
