Projector Shroud Suggestion Needed

Hey guys,

I have Bosch Mini Projectors that I plan to retrofit into my fogs. I was wondering if you guys have suggestions on what I should use for a shroud. The projector lenses are 1.5" in diameter.

Here is a picture of them.

If you go to HIDPlanet's forum in the University section, there's a whole 14-page thread of nothing but shroud and bezel ideas.

if you are using them in your fogs, I highly doubt it will be noticeable if there is a shroud or not covering them..

??

Thanks, I was searching that forum yesterday but didn't come up with anything. I didn't look at the university section and will do that now.

I was also thinking of getting some clear plastic or acrylic and shape it into a shroud to make it glow around the projector. I'll have to see once I get my fogs in the mail.

Actually, when I did my fogs I didn't use a shroud or bezel at all. I simply put the aluminum tape on and painted the housings black and it looked good to me. I even had bezels lined up and ready to go in and said "screw it." Looks good to me

hahahaha

the only reason I think he may want shrouds is because 97-99 fogs have a "more clear" lens therefore, the insides are easier noticeable..

grr, now the 2 of you are making me want to retrofit my fogs... but I gotta start and finish retrofitting my cefiro's first// hahahaha

I want the shrouds because I want to make sure that there is a little light leakage as possible. I may end up using aluminum tape if I get lazy.

I found something to make the shroud and have already grinded down the side and they fit perfectly. I also bought some electric range covers that the bezels are going to go over so that no light leaks through. I'll take some pictures later.

This is what I am using for a bezel for now. I had to shave off the ridges on the interior of the ring, but it fits perfectly. I'm going to place this on top of a range cover and shape it into the fog light housing. I am still waiting for my fog lights to come via fed ex.
