I got a questionaire from Nissan today, with a letter congratulating me on my recent purchase. So I figured I'd let them have it...

Overall I said that I was pleased with my purchase, but I hit them with a few tough questions, and a cheap jab or two.

1) Why did Nissan decide to make Majestic Blue a standard color on the 2002 model? If your going to make a rare car in the 2001 AE in Majestic Blue, don't cheapin it by putting it on the 2002 model!

2) With the 2002 Altima coming out with an optional 3.5L VQ with 240HP, why don't they offer 2000-2001 Max owners an option to upgrade? Perhaps a factory SC? Like Dr. Evil says "Throw us a freaking bone here!"

There we're other questions on there like what other cars do you own, so I put 2000 Honda Odyssey. I put that I purchased it because it has more HP than the stupid Quest. Doh!!! Beatin at their own game...

Represent, however, I don't think they even read those questionaires, I think it goes on some sort of scanner which scans for specific words, then scans your address and instantly puts you on a junk-mailing list. I doubt they read it, but well what do I know...

I mean seriously they've gotten so many complaints regrading the paint from like 97% of the owners. I went to the nissan dealer to complain about my paint a few weeks ago. My friend went a week later spoke to the same guy, "pardon me sir but I've never heard that from anyone else, all of our customers are very satisfied", I got the same line too. I mean Nissan makes nice cars but doesnt give a jack about the owners...

Those Nissan surveys don't even get read. They have somebody in Ohio that gets paid $6.75 and hour to open them up and scan them through the computer. To really voice your opinion, call that 1-800 Nissan # or Consumer Affairs. The surveys only count towards the dealership on how they treated you. Your best bet would be to call and voice your opinion.

No offence but the people at 800-Nissan1 are the same shmucks who are hired to inspect cloth floor mats only that they have been working a few months more. No one cares about us...
