SE Suspension on GXE...

SE Suspension on GXE...

I need to replace the front and rear suspension on my GXE.....I want to put an SE setup on the car...you guys know of any issues with this????

I don't think there is a difference... If there is, not much.

If you better handling, you need to upgrade.

Stock se struts have a slightly higher dampening rate..The se springs are also slightly thicker,thus being a little stiffer..

I recommend going complete aftermarket though,some tokico's/koni's along with eibach/intrax/or B&G springs will give you a "very different" ride than either se or gxe stock setup...

ok...now that we've distiguished the difference in suspension....lets talk price....what is the difference in price......SE suspension VS aftermarket.....what have you guys seen?

Well I can tell you that B&G springs will run you ~$140 and Koni's will run you another $600...give or take a bit.

aftermarket suspension will be significantly cheaper than new OE pieces.
