Aside from the horrendous wheel i gap I suppose it could look decent. Don't like the style/finish/pattern of the wheel, and well, that wheel gap hurts my head/eyes/heart.

 

yea I know I just got them, I just ordered some springs so hopefully the gap will be gone.

 

There iffy maybe if u dropped the car it would look betta

 

Better plan on ordering shocks soon too....OEMs will not hold up too long

i actually like those rims. you should paint your door handles body color to match your car, it would look better.

 

except for drop, higher profile rubber would help IMO

 

def with a drop, the illusion / effect will change..
once that wheel gap is reduced, the mags would look better..
ever considered paiting them gold or bronze?

Eh, Im really not into big shiny rims, but either way Im not a fan of those wheels anyways. As long as you like it, thumbs up!

 

They look pretty nice to me. If I had em I would wear them on my Max.

 

WEll the reason why I got them I got them brand new with tires for 700 shipped. Rubber is NanKand N2 235-40-18. The finishing is actually called Hyper Dark Silver. When you look at them differnent angles they look dark.

PLUS THEY ARE SO LIGHTTTTT!!!. I had 18" 2005 oem's AND IT SLOWED MY CAR DOWN LIKE CRAZY.

I just painted my grille, so I'm about to paint my door handles. You are right aih98Max; It would look much better.

 

Well thats a definite plus. Im surprised those OEM 18s slowed your car down so much. Thats nice to know.

Yes you did...I have still yet to install them as I need to get some 3M tape to put over them to prevent cracking. Then I need to figure out the easiest way to remove them....

Nice Neptune Blue Max, the rims would look cleaner with your new springs (I'd invest in new struts/shocks as well) but its hard to appreciate the car with the low quality pic. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the grille cost to get repainted and is the color match accurate?

 

Just me or does it look like his rims are mounted on the wrong sides of the car? Tires look directional, facing backwards...

 

I actually painted the grill black. It was chrome before but i sanded it down for about 15 minutes put some primer on it and then put black paint. But it's not the shiny black, it's what they call flat black.

 

jeez guyz i feel bad now. I feel like i wasted my money on my rims.

 

if you like the rims just get some good springs/shocks like everyone said and it'll be fine..the gap is the main thing that kills it.

Ah, okay thanks for clearing that up.

But don't be down about your rims, just because a bunch of people on the internet aren't crazy about them (I still think a clearer picture and aftermarket springs/struts are needed). But generally it's just hard to appreciate a nice set of rims on a Max without a drop. Whatever you do to your car in the future refer to your own opinion first and foremost.

 

Ya know I was gonna say how your other rims looked better, but to the many benefits of reducing rotational mass

I have to agree with pmohr, the left front(drivers side) tire is mounted wrong. You shoud take care of it ASAP and check the other tires. You may have to switch sides.

 

they are mounted the right way. It's the picture. I'll take a better one and then you guys tell me. Actually i'll wait till I do the drop.

 

hey u gota get a lowering kit to fix that gap and it will make ur ride look sick

 

yeah, no love for the shiny, the pattern is decent..but the shiny just takes away

 

they look ok hopefully with the drop they will look better good lock with that man
