the bigger the diameter, more flow. stick w/ 2.5 since ur na i'm assuming.
forced induction should run 3+. run 3+ on na u will lose back pressure

Keep reading, there's a huge section on exhaust velocity vs. back pressure which will answer your question in great detail

your 20 and just had a child.........no comment on that

might wanna save your money and start thinkin about the kid instead.

but to answer ur questions, look at the exhaust thread and vqpower.com.
theres many different routes u can choose. u need to do research before u post questions like this. choose a reputable y-pipe like warpspeed, budget , cattman( most expensive) , and get a cat-back upon your sound perference.

you know what i hate people like you trying to bash people because you might think something they did is a mistake. Chris is a very nice guy and he doesn't deserve your comments.

Chris I would go with the budjet Ypipe if you are concidering a Ypipe because it is the cheapest and mine fits great and no bees in the can. As for catback you should listen to the exhaust thread for you personal preference. I have the Cattman and it has made me very happy, no drone, lower note then stock, and sounds like a 911 when you get on it even just a little. But some times I wish it was not so loud, like times when I am going to a job interview or times when you dont want people to think you are trying to make your car into a race car. Remember it is a family sedan.

dude stfu. i said it was my mistake. and i'm sure he's a nice guy.

by the way, the cleanest exhaust tone you can get in my opinion is full cattman exhaust. headers make a HUGE diff in tone, but not worth the money for gains

I am happy with my Budget y-pipe and K&N panel filter as I am not into noise.

There were no fitment issues or bees in the can with the Budget y.

Having said that before I dumped a bunch of money into an exhaust upgrade I would want to be sure that my vehicle was in sound mechanical shape and that the money wouldn't be better spent in routine maintenance.

The obvious question is how many miles are on the car in question and what condition is it in?

He mentioned the kid already so if he was really ashamed about it, I don't think it would have been common knowledge.

Short answer: 2.25 to 2.5 is fine for N/A. 3.0 for F/I to lower exhaust temps.

the bigger the diamiter the less back pressure so if you car is turboed or suprcharged go with a 3in or 3.5in if its n/a go with 2.5
