new suspension !!! cant wait!!
i finally researched and went with a new setup fo the max. i got kyb gr2's and i'm gonna get the eibach springs next week, i still need strut mounts and boots, anyone know a good place to get a reliable but reasonble set of plates and boots?? something that would go with the kyb's or will stock do?? ( my font strut mounts are shot ) thanks in advance
eibach springs are known to be stiff and should be paired with adjustable shocks such as koni yellows, kyb agx, or tokico illuminas. im not sure if they will make a good setup wit gr-2's but best of luck to your gluteus maximus
well, i have'nt bought them yet, but i don't want a big drop so what can i get that will pair up with a little drop to go with the gr2's that won't kill me in the pocket?? bear in mind that i still need plates and boots. and the rears i was told on my max are allready coilovers so i thought they might match up ok with the kyb's????
it is not recommended to pair gr-2's up with very very stiff or low aftermarket springs, but softer ones and ones with lesser drops are fine. in the case of very stiff or very low springs, these shocks can wear out much quicker. if you're looking for soft shocks with a little drop then try maxspeed springs. they cost about $100 for 4 springs but since you're only looking for two in the front you could find a site that sells them individually and get them for around $50.
no problem. im most likely gonna buy myself a set as soon as i get enough money for both the shocks and springs. looking for a set of illuminas under $400 but it's hard to find. if anyone comes across a good deal please let me know.
so, aftermarket gabriel's strut plates are no good??? ( autozone ) oem"s kinda expensive and i got alot of little issues on the wearable parts on the front as well. what should i match up with these?? thanks...
