4th gen Carbon Fiber Hood

I was wondering which company makes a good quality carbon fiber hood for the 4th gens??
Also whats the cheapest price that anybody's seen for one, and where?

I'm bored of the way the car looks and I think id rather get one than painting my chipped, slightly warped(due to the hood closing on a wrench) hood.

the signs are there...hehehe

LOL.. I know that!
I've looked around a few websites and they are all in the 399.00-599.00 range. I'm willing to pay in the 400-450 range... of course, there will be shipping charges as well....

What I really want to know more than anyhting is who makes a good quality carbon fiber hood. I've seen a lot of hoods fade right away.

What I want is one that the clear coat will last for a long time, smooth edges(good quality workmanship), and one that has the lines on the hood... not just a flat hood with no indentions.

I have a deft racing CF hood... the fitment isnt amazing, the driver side is a little high in the front but I am betting hood pins will fix it....they say they use 4 coats of gel clear coat. it looks pretty good. It was 485 shipped to my door.

Carbonefx or Vis racing. They will both run you 500-550 But they are both good hoods. My opinion id go with the VIS

well as far as i know fiber images is the best. my ebay special hood is not bad not good either. granted i would not buy it again but for $350 shipped i cant complain about fitment. over time there is discoloration due to underhood temps, and it was flimsy out of the box, but i got my moneys worth. it got into a fender bender and its cracked a bit, it didnt bother me one bit either.
