DR Mod - Kickdown?

With the DR mod is it bad to be at WOT and have the trans kickdown?

And if I just want to unplug the DR to test it out .. how do I slow down with the DR disconnected I don't want partial throttle shifts? ; Shift to neutra and brake?

I have had no problem with my trans at all from having the DR mod running at all WOT conditions. Same with my shift_fast.

...interestingly enough, the other 3 autos I went through, I wasn't doing anything with them, no DR, no s_f, nothing...wtf?

It won't downshift at full line pressure when decelerating, or at least I've never felt it do so. Even if it does, it happening once or twice isn't going to cause excessive damage to anything.

Set up a WOT switch. It's a bit of pissing around but worth it if you want hard shifts at WOT but not at half throttle

Yea I dont think it effects the downshift but I will say that in the month or so that Ive had the DR mod now I have noticed one slight issue....maybe not even an issue but sorta annoying although I cant imagine it would be harmfull. If Im accelerating WOT and by chance after say the 1-2 shift I have to get off the gas, even totally off the gas it seems to shift to 3 anyway and its kinda an awkward feeling shift. I had never felt it until i was at the track a few weeks back and about 1/8 down the track the guy in the other lane lost control and veered into my lane and I came totally off the gas I felt it. I tried to reproduce it on the street and it only seems to happen in that situation.

i think i know the feeling your talking about. Its kind of like a shuttering feeling. I've felt it before in my max (auto) i think it just has to do with the sudden stop of gas being shot into the engine when u let off the throttle quickly. I don't have any mods btw. I've felt the same thing in other cars i've driven before as well so i don't think anything of it really.
