my sister has a 96 maxima with tan leather seats. they are mint compared to my front seats on my 97 max. I want to do a swap before she sells her car. One problem....I have heated seats. She does not. Is the heater a simple bolt on under the seat. Would it be worth messing with? Has anyone done this?

I really want the new leather seats but do NOT want to loose my heated functionality!

 

the heat pads are inside the seat. not just on the bottom. it would require you to take off the hop loops and the leather cover and basically reupholster the seat.
