5.5 6spd 14.4 @98

went to the drags on weds and had a rough time of it. pulled 2.4xx 60's all day. need some slick. anyway, had some promising data at the end, my last run missed third bad and still hit 99.55mph so i know theres a lot of time to be had.

Best ET

RT .136
60' 2.412
330' 6.308
1/8 9.483 @ 77.45
1/4 14.484 @98.03

Best MPH

RT .057
60' 2.456
330' 6.303
1/8 9.612 @ 72.57
1/4 14.707 @99.55
Baro hung around 29 all day, temp was between 68 and 75, humidity from 40 to 45

it was a bracket race, i lost with the 14.7 to a z, which i had beat by 2 tenths off the tree but blew third and lost by .03xx. was a fun time, but i really need some better tires.

mods as follows:
WAI
SSIM
17* timing adv
y-pipe
test pipe
catback
BC coilovers for launch control
was running my 235's on 18's (49lb combo) to try to get better traction, but it was barely better than running with the stock wheel/tire

all-in-all a fun time, will be back in two weeks hopefully with DR's on z32 8.5wides. anyone want to suggest a good DR size? think as wide as you can but still fitting on 8.5" wides

I'd suggest getting headers first. It would put you in the 13's. Good runs though.

Actually ill say the opposite. Set a goal for yourself. Personally i wouldnt buy any more performance mods till you can get your 60ft down to the 2.2 range. After you can pull off 2.2 60fts consistantly go for headers, you should def be in the 13's then.

With those 60's, you should be able to hit 13.9-14.0 just by dropping them to 2.1-2.2

i think i can make the 13's without headers, i plan to get them, just later. i need to perfect the launch before i move to more power or it will only get uglier. i am planning to go in on DR's with a friend, so paying for 1 DR compared to buying headers...much better price.

i would think you can make 100 trap, most people in the high 13's are trapping near there. so i think high 13's are possible, just get some stickier tires and go back
