15000k Ricer H3's FTMFW

who would've ever thought that finding a set of ricer purple H3's would be harder than hitting the jackpot? psshhh took me almost a year to find a good set to rice things up a bit.

old setup:
single beam 6000k 9004 & 12000k deep blue H3
New setup:
bi-xenon 6000k 9004 & 15000k ultraviolet purple FTW !!

Well.. at least you can admit it. Why not get a 1-piece headlight and retro into that?

I think it looks good.I may not have chose 15000k (I don't know about Cali, but in Youngstown, Ohio you are asking to get pulled with lights that color.)

Have any with both sets on? High beams with the HIDs? The reason I ask is, as you know, I have Cefiros and would like some Bi-xenon HIDs, but I refuse to do a projector retro. I have other School to worry about. (Lets not even discuss the possible R6.)

I was just curious about how a non-projecor HID looked in our car. Not to mention our cars are the same color, so I know how your temps look as a reference to the color of the car (I'm weird like that). I am getting 4300K (Main) and 1500K (fogs), just to keep the man off my back.

I think the 12000k looked better, but this actually contrasts pretty well with your orange clearance lights (orange clearance lights FTMFW btw, I love mine...what bulbs are you using in yours?).

This tempts me to go back to stock fog light housings and add some HIDs (my projector ones are annoying as of late due to wiring harness garbage)

why would they pull me over for purple lights??? i dont think its illegal. i understand that in other states they might hastle you but in CA there are so many fixed up cars that the cops just dont get time to deal with all of them. almost every bmw and benz in my area is sporting smoked headlights and taillights, now imagine what the typical ricers have. so much to do for the cops that they dont care about purple fogs. besides, from headon, you cant really notice them because the beam gets lost in the 6000k headlights but from the sides you clearly see the true color of both temps.

i only have a coupla pics with the headlights on. they are 6000k. as to answer your question for the high beam. they are HID's as well. infact when you throw on the highbeams, the bulb inside the housing moves up.
i like the setup.....

Here in the 'Yo' as its called, the cops have a "zero tolerance." This is real too.

What it is: Our crime is SO bad, that that is a 'plan' in effect to lower crime. You can look it up, we are in the top 10 for murder!

They have the right to randomly pull anyone over and search the car, no probable cause whatsoever. To add, most custom cars (which are ALL ricers-usually primered and rusty) here are viewed as Drug dealers and automatically pulled, this includes, but not limited to cars with ricer lights,(blue or other colors from stock). Yeah, it sux! But why would a dealer drive a ricer car, that I just don't understand the logic.

Thanks for the pix though, Its cool about only having a couple. Several folk on here have said HIDs are worthless w/o projectors. Since you have them, they must not, you seem to be picky like me. I doubt you would have them if they had $h177y output. So I wanted to see how it was in the housings and output. They (housings) are different, but similar to mine.

i can't claim to know what actually happens in ohio... but there's a thing called the 4th amendment that says you can't do that. if it happened to me i'd be suing the hell out of someone.

Oh I know, but our crime is SO bad, they use that as an excuse to try and "clean up the streets." The state troopers are a major player in this, they help the city cops patrol and enforce.

You trust your Max at the mall/ theater? (Theaters here are at the malls.) Wow I REALLY wish I lived in Cali now more than ever (I used to live in Phoenix, then moved to this H3llHole.) I wouldn't dare park my car at either of the malls around me without being in watching distance with armed guards. I have all the anti-theft toys too. Mine doesn't look 1/2 as nice as yours, nor do I have as much entertainment. As I have said before I love your car, Many props.

As for the "dinner and a movie" which every respectable man endures, I use the Drive-In (weather permitting), its safer!

Hey VIP, should we start our own "Sterling Mist" thread?

i think there is a sterling mist thread already. i usually try to avoid malls but sometimes you cant. you cant trust a fixed up car anywhere, not even your own garage !

i might be going down to the grove next friday again lol....
