I finally got these scanned, but can only post one at a time.

in the future I'll have web page links.

This is my Black/Black AE with a carflector stone guard, it's hardly noticable on a black Max.

Nice car! But WTF with the muffler?

Can you take a closeup of the carflector. I might have to get one of those things.

I don't have a pic of it off the car, but I can tell you that it's pretty wide front to back, espcially in the center. Because of the width you need to put a few extra rubber bump pads on it to keep from rubbing the hood at high speed.

It's hard to get a good picture of it because it really does blend into the black car so well. When I first put it on my girlfriend & I kept looking at the car commenting on how you hardly noticed it.

I ordered it from an Advanced AutoParts store in northern KY, they are a national chain I think. I also saw it on the web, but it was cheaper from advanced auto.

The muffler is original Nissan, I haven't upgraded any exhaust or suspension yet.

But I'm working on it !!!!

Ok, I'm confused. In the pic of the rear end, it LOOKS like you have an exhaust tip with two separate small outlets that are both turned down and are not chromed.

Is this an optical illusion or did the AEs actually come with that kind of muffler. For comparison look at the other rear pic posted in this thread.

Just curious (or blind).

I guess the AE's have a different exhaust tip, I've noticed that other Maxima's have that rectangular tip too. But I swear that's the muffler mine came with.

Personally, I like the rectangular tip better, but the AE has a lot of other things I like over standard Maxima's.

He's right, for some reason, Nissan got rid of the good tips.

Exhaust tips

The AE edition comes with infinity muffler and that's the way they are, facing down. AEs don't come with the exhaust tip.
