I want to buy the service manuel for 97 max. So if something i to have fix, I dont have to go to the dealer and rather do it myself. Thanks

In the back of your owner's manual is the phone number of the publisher for the factory service manual. It will run you about $90 but is worth it. The book is very well written.

The aftermarket repair manuals are a good choice for most home mechanics.
Haynes is better than Chilton. Either one costs much less than the factory service manual. For a detailed comparison of manuals, see http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/manualcompare.html

If new manuals for your model are no longer available, you may be able to
find one on the secondary market.

This fellow deals in used factory service manuals.

This is another good source of used factory service manuals:
****son Street Bookshop
325 West ****son
Fayetteville, AR 72701
dsbooks@ipa.net
I bought one from ****son and recommend them.
The book was fairly priced, in good condition, and shipped promptly.

These folks have a good on-line catalog.

Keep an eye on the eBay auction site. They often have manuals for sale.

In the search field, enter: maxima manual -owner
