Fluttering temp gauge and inop climate control unit
Fluttering temp gauge and inop climate control unit
Guys I have a problem here, a few days ago I noticed that my temp gauge is fluttering while I'm driving; but when I come to a red light or stop sign the gauge behaves normal. Can this be signs that it's time to change the thermostat? Also my the climate control unit doesn't work all of a sudden. You press one of the buttons and nothing happens. Does anybody have any suggestions? It's a 95 Maxima.
I'll give you two educated guesses on your problems.
First, check the single spade terminal on the engine temp sensor for corrosion, I've seen that one before.
As for the climate control, do you have any fan speed function? If not, then a good possibility is the fan blower resistor under the RH dash area. Cheap, simple fix from the dealer.
