clarion wiring diagram- Active

Hi,
Can't seem to find a wiring diagram for the Clarion (Active) system. Could someone please post a link to either a diagram or instructions?

I'm replacing the stereo (HU) and believe I am supposed to bypass the amp in the back completely... and that the front speakers have no amp and are powered by the OEM stereo, so I can wire them directly? Is this correct guys?
(Wow- can't wait to actually play CDs!)
Thanks!

No need to bypass the rear amp,you can wire it into your aftermarket HU..

Thanks but I don't quite understand this key statement on the link you provided..

"You need to hook up the rear speaker amp to a switched source..IIRC it's the blue amp wire if you used the Scosche adapter harness." Is it saying to just hook up the rear spkr amp to the blue wire and all will be ok?

Is there a downside to bypassing the rear amp?

Yiikes! I'm sorry... this should have been under "audio and electronics". Still... all replies are appreciated!

A "switched source" means a source of power for the amp that will turn it(the amp) off when you turn the car off/take the ignition key out.(the blue wire shown in the pics is a switched power source)

I am not sure how the rear speakers sound without the rear amp, maybe someone else can relay this info to you.

I bypassed mine. Finally got balanced sound after being overpowered by the rear speakers for years because the Best Buy installers hooked up my aftermarket HU to the rear amps.

Needless to say, my recommendation is to bypass them.

Do I just connect all the black wires together... they are all supposed to go to "ground"... then connect this array to a clean screw on the chassis?

yes .. well via the new harness adaptor that connects to the hu and plugs into the wires from the dash. I guess ground is ground (black in this case?).. and should all end up connected to the chassis?
