Anyone who swapped 00vi back to stock

Just wanted to know what you did. I'm assuming that it's easier than install. I just wanted to know if it's as simple as replacing the stock parts and just plugging hoses in. The vac gallery was taken off and I just t'd a lot of the vac hoses. Can those hoses just be attached to the USIM nipples and they're all set or what? I think that's the only issue I'm wondering about. Shouldn't have start up problems and all going back to stock right? Thanks for the help.

well thats what I figured. My thoughts were that the hoses can just be attached to the USIM and that should be that. I wasn't sure tho. Also, will the USIM fit back onto the valve cover with the pcv out the side and not upright? shouldn't be a problem right?

You would have to check....If not, just swap out the rear valve cover/coils or you may have to cut a part of the upper manifold. I believe theres a support on the upper that would block you from using the side PCV port.

well I took a look at the USIM. It doesn't look like anything would be in the way of side PCV. I also found a lot of other stuff in a bag in the basement of brackets for the USIM and realized how much stuff I took off ha.

yeah I'm selling the 00vi. Why want something haha. I'm not worried about doing it, I know I can get it back the way it was, I'm trying to figure out timing and if I'll need to buy other stuff. The vacuum was my only concern. Everything is vacuumed now and works so my thought was plugging those hoses into USIM nipples would be the solution.
