Are 1995-1999 I30 seats directly interchangeable with 1995-1999 Maxima seats?

The best I can tell from pics the seats are interchangeable. Just want to be sure before I make a road trip to pick up some I30 seats. I've been looking for heated seats with no success and there seems to be more I30's with heated seats.

PS: Some I30 seats are listed with air bags...I don't understand...why do i30seats have airbags?

yes they do.. your biggest difficulty would be wiring the heat for them if your max isnt pre-wired under the carpet. The rest is plug and play, most max owners get i30 seats for the extra headrest in the rear; some argue the are better quality from the factory. The front headrests tilt where as in the maximas they dont.

no there are some that have only the power seat clip and not the heated leather clip. A Gxe I parted out several months ago had only a clip for power seats. Lift up your rug if you got two clips than your in ;0)

99 SE max's come with heated leather seats and the airbag in the seats. I know mines did.

 

95-97 leather has NO airbags
98-99 leather does have airbags

It shouldnt make a difference anyways...unless you want side airbags..........

Yes they are directly interchangeable and like said above, check for two connections under the seat and if you have both of em, youre good to go.
