So, my 94SE just died. Should I part it out or just junk it? A ton of the pieces are still good. Whadayathink?

 

What do you mean by died?

Valves smashed?

Pistons hanging out of the block?

Fire?

Smoke?

 

what color?

 

Where is the fix it option?

 

or sell it as is if you're just wanting to get rid of it??

I too am at this same decision point. I have a ground in the electrical harness on my 91 SE. I disconnected the alternator, starter, and ignition and pulled all the fuses one at a time, but I still get 1500 ohms resistance between the electrical harness and ground. That should be infinite resistance right?

I can't imagine the work required to put a new harness in the car, since it's woven through all the orifices in engine compartment and dash and I can't figure out how to isolate the problem any further, so Part out or Junk or Donate seem to be my options...

Any thoughts?

well if anyones got any abs modulators i need one, mines not sendin fluid to the rears instead it leaks it out...great..
