Interior pics of my $500 Maxima 56k warn

I bought this max for $500. There was another thread about the leather seats and I didn't want to hijack that thread so here is the interior of mine.

Once you do that, look on the back, maybe there is a manufacturer name or a label.

it runs great, shifts great, ice cold a/c, all power options work including the antenna. I got it wrecked. I will post pics soon. The lady i got it from rear ended a truck and it busted the headlight, dented the hood and fender and bent that one side of the core support. I was able to pull it back since it wasn't pushed too far and I used the hood, fender and headlight off my old max. Fixed it all myself and now just waiting to get it painted but I still drive it everyday. I bought it with 116K it has 122K i think now. Right before she wrecked it, it had a new timing belt, waterpump, and all the radiator hoses done. Lucky the way she wrecked it; it missed the frame radiator, a/c dryer etc.

here's what it looked like when I bought it.

I think you might have the rarest interior color for the 3rd gen. I also thought that they only made the blue with a cloth interior. Everything looks like it's in good condition except for the minor wear on the driver's seat. That's a good find. My car had similar damage, but the fender wasn't bent, instead it had some frame damage, probably because it has been in previous front end collisions and because the bumper was already cracked and didn't absorb most of the impact like it was supposed to.

Yeah the driver's seat has some wear but is in excellent condition for being 17years old. I like how the CD changer is wired in with the BOSE. When I turn on the CD changer the stereo display goes blank and if I turn the stereo on the CD changer automatically turns off. I guess it has an AUX in the back. I have been using Lexol and a sunshade in the windshield to help keep the letaher soft and looking good.
As for being rare; I have to admit I have never seen another max with blue leather. My 1st max, a SE, had the tweed which I really liked. Second one, a GXE had blue cloth but black dash and door panels, and then this one is my 3rd.

I've seen quite a few blue interiors so I personally dont think its that rare. Good shape? hell yes not bad at all. I like those Maxima door thingy-majig sills so I'm gonna ask you to hunt that lady down and ask her where she got em!

I think Maxima9750 was saying that blue leather is rare. My previous max was blue cloth. The rear doors have the sill plates too but they are are blank.
I am going to clean them up today so I will let you know if there is a manufacturer name or what on the bottom.

I took one off to polish it and there was no name or anything underneath. The original plastic door sills underneath look like brand new without a single scuff on them I am guessing they may have been installed when it was new. Possibly a dealer accessory?

I found these but dunno if they fit like mine. Mine are molded to the entire sill.

Hey I have the exact same door sills. I got mine off a car in the junkyard though. Yours are a hell of a lot nicer than mine though. Mine area all scratched up.
