lol....I can just say when removing 2 pre-cats and the pipe going to 2.5" over 1.8" is like a night and day difference at Higher RPMs. U may notice some at low RPMs, but I noticed it @ 5-6.5 grand. It just seems so much smoother and better pickup...

Anyway, with the stock y, the pipe also had a hole on the top of the resonator... Funny thing is... it was not that loud. All this sudden, when I put the y-pipe on... Dammn... Flow being increased made it sound like a v12... lol... not a good sound though... it basically feels like I got no muffler...

So I am gonna go to an exhaust shop and have them custom put on a Magnaflow... Now the resinator is apart of the b-pipe right? If so, I hope the take that off replace it with a b-pipe and slap the Magnaflow on there...

What are some good magnaflow Mufflers u guys like? I want a mean sound but no be in cans and no loud vibrating hum inside the car. I hate that....

Stock y-pipe doesn't have any resonators. 1.8 inch? I know the OEM exhaust is 2.25", I assumed the same for the y.

I don't like the magnaflow mufflers actually. I would put on a dynomax instead, the 17748's sound good and will probly cost you less than the magnaflow.

BTW a resonator is not always included in a new b pipe but i would be sure to include one in your new setup.
