rear seats

rear seats

i have a 99 (se if it matters) ..i want to remove my back seats but cant figure out how. any help would be greatly appreciated

the rear seat is in 2 pieces the back and bottom:

1st remove bottom: 2 pins u pull out on ech side rite under the seat just neel down u will see it. Pull out and pull seat up and it will come out.

back piece: once u get the rear seat out u will see i beleive its 4 bolts. 2 on each side. WHen u take the bolts out, lift back piece up toward the ceiling and pull toward urself.

UR DONE.

What he said, but with one clarification: seat back has four 10mm bolts holding it - open the arm rest and unhook the vinyl cover, two are under there. Then there is one at the bottom of each side.

man i been wondering this for a long time..i was thinkin bout taking out the back seat and building a custom box to lean back on

according to made in china, the 5th gen stuff (his was from a i35) is a direct fit. has headrests also.

i30 seats are a perfect easy match for the 4th gen, BUT

this only works if the colour matches. the i30 seats are also a better quality leather, its perforated or something (blah blah infy owners think they are all that)

I beleave the i30 is the same leather. The i30t has perforated leather.

jonn052, i didnt take out the seats for any reason BUT to loose some weight.. running the quarter this weekend im just trying to get all the weight out. front passenger seat is next but not till friday
