intsalled cattman headers and udp...now have problems.

Well i got my cattman headers and udp installed today and it definitely has more power. I have a problem, the tcs, slip lights showed up.....this happened before and i changed the maf and it was good to go. The thing is it drives fine but there is some lagging or hesitation at 4000 and again at 5000 rpm. it goes fine up to there, stops, and goes hard again to 5000 and stops for a bit and continues to redline. It only does this sometimes. What could this be?? Thanks in advance

Oh another thing is that the car takes a while to start, i have to hold the key a while before it starts up, before it would start right away and now it takes a while....

One last thing, when I'm driving in a parking lot and i barely tap the gas pedal it moves normal, but when i let it go the car surges forward like i tapped the gas pedal again. What could this be?

sounds like a throttle position sensor problem. the surge is because the ECU increases throttle thinking the idle is too low

This problem happens in my '02 GLE AT. When I get on the gas (hard) there will be hesitation, a HUGE loss of power where the tach seems to steadily rise towards redline but the speedo remains (no acceleration). Next is the worst hard shift of all time... sounds like a giant smashing a hammer on the block. If you drive like a normal person, shifting is not noticeable.

Throttle position sensor problem?

Not sure myself... If it's not too difficult a fix I'll take it on next weekend, but last weekend was a self-replaced alternator. Pain in the ---. If anyone would like advice on alternator replacement, send a message. (Put this in here for the site search).
