MEVI Parts

I know this must be a repost and I do apologize. I spent a couple hours looking through search results looking for my answer, however maybe you guys may give some insight.

I bought the MEVI, Vacuum Canister, Summit RPM switch, GM Solenoid. Is there any other part that I am going to need. I read the directions in the stickies on how to install. Am I going to need a different kind of relay? It said something about a relay that I'm going to need that I'm not aware of. Can someone send me a link to a pic of the T I'm going to need with the extra 3FT hose I'm going to have to buy.

I really just need to know if I need to purchase a relay or not.

I never used a relay on my MEVI set-up.

I didnt use a relay....I think you only needed the relay if you were using the harlan switch....The summit doesnt need a relay. I powered mine using the power from the clock....works great.

just remember with the GM solenoid, it is a open circuit so leave the side with one port open as the breather and hook up the two other vacuum ports to the mevi and canister.

I didnt use a relay either - and I used the Summit RPM switch.

The install is quite straight forward, but I found I needed some tuning using my emanage before the MEVI actually worked properly.

I used to have a Cefiro 30 S.Touring once which came with a MEVI from the factory - it seemed to have more top end than my Maxima with a transplanted MEVI. I think the default maxima map runs too rich up high for the MEVI - thats my two cents anyway...
