Have you thanked your Maxima?

I drove about 800 miles this weekend, and when I got home in the middle of the night, I thanked my car for a safe trip. It's weird cuz watching the miles pile up is just like years to a person.

Early years/miles = cant' wait to get older
Middle years/miles = getting over the hump, dreading later years
Late years/miles = every year/mile is a reason to celebrate

205k miles, and 1 interior rattle that comes and goes at the rarest times. Pretty happy right now.

well ive somewhat have. Its cause alot of headaches but the car is amazing and i love its style and power and all the luxury with it.Its my frist car and it will be with me always im not getting rid of it.It actually saved my life on night at about 3:15.I was in the middle of a rain storm and fog going down the highway to a friends house.I wasnt getting along with family so i left for a couple days. And so i was driving and i was like um.....wtf is that and then i swerved a slid and swerve back and forth on the highway just missing the back of a couple ton moose.well i dont know about a couple tons but it was ****ing huge.I was like holy **** the whole way to my friends house. And i was thinking damn thank god i drive a nissan.I dont care about the headaches it gives me or what people say because they headaches and the the negative comments mean nothing when some guy is pissed off because his b16 civic with 10 gran in mods cant keep up or the rich kids get smoked in their daddys 06 mustang.

I do all the time, my neighbors are constantly saying to me how much I wash and clean my car (vacuum at least once a week, wash or wax or clean the glass at least three times a week) to keep it looking mint; and if I want to do their cars too lol. My car is spotless all the time, and I believe that if I take car of the car, it'll take care of me. Sounds stupid, but I think every car has a personality, so I try and keep my car as happy as possible lol, though I may have OCD with my car and it's appearance, but it's not the worst thing I could be obsessed with

My neighbors, family and my friends totally make fun of me all the time. My neighbors always ask if there car is next. I washed my car Saturday and again yesterday. And I took some pics too, so I can show everyone my shiny black max and make a signature or something.

very exciting!

Yeah, so the car definitely has feelings and a personality, I'm convinced.

I don't think I've thanked my Max nearly as much as I should. Especially considering that it's on it's "sweet" 16th b-day this year. I'm sure there have been days where it could've said 'the heck with it all', blew a tie rod and threw me off a cliff. But it's stood by me - from 200 mile trips to Portland, OR, all the way to my 24 hour, 1200+ mile jaunt from North Dakota to Oregon.

So, this is to you, my White Knight!!!

i park my max next to others max's in the parking lot on purpose so she can hit up on the gossip...though i was the only one who knew cars talked to other cars

is also give her a rub on the dash above the radio.

I ALWAYS do that. Haha I think thats so great and mine's always bragging to the other ones about how shiny its coat is! Cars definitely talk to each other. Sometimes, though, she doesn't play well with others and in that case, I park it far away, all alone.

I am thankful that it hasn't crapped out on me (yet), but I refuse to actually thank it until the VTCs stop ticking.

When they blow up, I will be cursing it, anyway.

i do sometimes. when im late for something, im thankful for the 3.5. it got me where i wanted to go on time. passing by traffic with ease, the quick acceleration and the agility to move. the rush it gives me. i love it.

i don't thank mine b/c i had an 05 and had to sell it and get a 98 (future daycare expenses). i use mine as a scapegoat for my anger that should be directed at my lack of financial prowess.
