4th Gen head here...and am going to be getting an 04-06 maxima. is there any way to tell if the car has a nav system or not, without turning it on? are there any extra buttons or anything? i have been looking at pictures, and i love the LCD display, but i cant tell if the car is nav enabled or not.

im in sales so the nav would be huge...but doesnt seem as though there are many with nav up for sale.

any help would be appreciated

 

Yes you would an xtra button on the left that says MAP and ROUT

 

yeah there are a few extra buttons, but trust me if it has navi, they will defintly list it, since its a big selling factor..

Funny enough mine does have navi and it wasen't listed, but I did buy it at a BMW dealership who just wanted to unload the car for what they paid for it as a trade-in. I noticed the nav display in a picture listed in the online ad and called, it made a good deal a great one and I thus drive an 04 Se max now.... and very happy.

 

Also the navi maxima's doesnt have the compass on the interior mirror because it is in the navi. None navi maxima's has the compass in the interior mirror
