blackmaxx96's true car history. It's a picture story!

So I decided to make a thread with pictures of all the cars/bikes i've owned from start to now....
Here goes:

It all started out when I was 15, I bought a 1989 Acura legend for $250.00. I riced the heck out of it, then put most of it back to stock and sold it for $2100.00 about 6 months later.

UBER RICE!!!!!!

So right after I sold the legend I bought a 1986 Mazda RX-7. It "consumed a little bit of coolant" when I bought it... being young and naive I assumed it wasn't that big of a deal. Well, 3 months after buying it the coolant seal blew out and the motor fried itself 4 minutes away from my house. This is when I started to gain some knowledge about cars and I ended up doing an engine swap with a friend of mine over the weekend. We had it up and running in no time and all was well! Or at least I thought so... exactly 32 miles after the break in period for the BRAND NEW engine, it spun a bearing and that's when I called it quits with rotaries. I did a few mods to this one: Headers, MSD ignition, dynomax dual exhaust, pineapple ports, S5 intake manifold, pulley, clutch, and flywheel... I ended up selling it for a decent price and still came close to breaking even somehow.

After those two is when I stepped into the maxima world.
I bought a 1996 black/black leather fully loaded SE 5 speed. I got it from the original owner with 142,000 miles, and it looked like it had 42,000 miles.
Here's the mod list once I was finished with it:
Eibachs/AGX's, 17" Konig villains, ypipe/catback, intake, tail lights, tint, sound system, sway bar, strut bars, etc.

So clean!
That muffler is LEGENDARY! It has been on four maximas, and is currently on NSCU_MAX's car right now, and will probably stay there until it dies. It is first ever produced Stillen muffler, and regardless of what people think they know or say, it is the best sounding exhaust I've ever had on a maxima (and i've had at LEAST 10 different setups)

After the maxima I stepped into the big boys world for a little while.
I bought a 1990 targa top Toyota Supra turbo.
I got it from the original owner, and it supposedly had a rebuilt motor with an HKS MHG, arp head studs, shot peened rods, etc....
Well 4000 miles later I found this to not be true at all.
The engine decided to starve itself of oil and seize piston 2 against the cylinder wall and breaking many things in the process.
This is when I went crazy.
I bought a new block, bored it, put in crower rods, pistons(forget which kind), clevite bearings, new crank, machined the cams, new valves/springs/retainers, MHG, ARP studs, upgraded oil pan/sump, and had it completely blue printed and built perfectly. On top of that I threw on a garret upgraded CT26 60-1 trim, 3" turbo elbow to a 3" defcon downpipe with a 3" pipe going all the way to a 4" megan catback. After that I got some 550CC injectors, AFPR, walbro fuel pump, intercooler hard pipes, intake, some suspension, MKIV bov, and an SAFC-II to tune it all out.
All I needed to do was hook up the SAFC and it would've been 450whp+ daily driven. I don't know why, but I decided to sell it... it probably was a good idea seeing that I was 16 and it was already 300+ hp and very tail happy.

After all of that I decided I wanted to get back into a maxima. I bought a 1996 green/tan cloth SE with 44,000 original miles. I put WAY too many mods on this car. I'll give a brief list of what I can remember and let the pictures speak for themselves.
Suspension: stock---eibach/agx---tein s tech/agx---progess/illumina---sprint/illumina---tokico/illumina---D2's---stock
Wheels:stock---240sx wheels---300zx wheels---RX-7 wheels---18" tenzo MACH 10's--- 17" Enkie bortex RPM 2's---18" Konig Villains
Other mods:
about 8 different exhaust setups, stage II LTB, RSB, FSTB, RSTB, intake(about 4 different setups), red clears, "racing" seats, spec stage II clutch, fidanza flywheel, Z32 BBK, ES poly bushings, blehmco grounding kit, sound system(all different kinds of stuff), and i'm sure plenty of other odds and ends.
Beginning:

Low miles really showed here

Mmmmmm... Oh yes.

I had these RX-7 wheels on for not even three days... I didn't even get a chance to take pictures.

Mod list:
G35's, Full SFC's, Ksports, custom catback, RSB, FSTB, sound system, tint, headlights, tail lights, phenolic intake spacers, and intake.

I sold that car about a month 1/2 ago and bought a 2000 Audi S4 two days later.
It was a stage 2.5+. Had roughly 350WHP, and 415WTQ.
Piggie downpipes, milltek 3" downpipe back exhaust, forge diverter valves, darintake, apr 93 tune chip, and supposed RS4 intercoolers.
I owned this car for a total of four weeks maybe and sold it yesterday.
I'm flying to houston on sunday to buy my new car... 2001.5 black/black leather Audi A4 S-line.

Well that's all for now, guys!
Let me know what you think....

I just realized how late it was... I should've been off to bed 3 hours ago. Work is going to be rough tomorrow...
I'll post up the five different (soon to be 6) motorcycles tomorrow.

Damn, enough cars?
Hmm...like the MK3, but why just a CT-26? Even with a .50 trim, hell .57 trim or a bigger turbo...they are nice cars though.

Why did you swap out the stock fogs on the green '96?

Heh, nice Legend...I almost started off in an '89 Accord LXi 5MT, but I got the Max instead...thank god.

Because the S4 got about 16MPG, and I don't need that much power right now... I'de rather have the same car with less power, for a lot less money, and own a bike again.
Trish, you can definitely ride in the A4... heck you can drive it if ya want.

It was a 60 trim. I couldn't afford to do a custom single at th point because I had already reached my budget with all the engine work.

I honestly don't know why i took the fogs out of the '96

That's quite the list you have going there...aren't there some laws against selling a certain number of cars in a period of time pertaining to taxes etc...how has that worked out for you?

With your incredibly fickle attitude on your cars I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say your longest relationship has been 2 weeks, but you've probably dated every maxima.org members sister, gf, cousin, aunt, and wife...fully modified of course.

Why not just a member? Why does it have to be a relative? I know some hotties that actually frequent this site. None are Mike-Worthy!

Alright Mike, I'll take you up on the ride, Mandie calls shotgun with you as well.

I too, believe that you will return to your roots and get another Maxima at some point.

I've had only two actual/longterm relationships in my whole life... Definitely a stab in the dark, and you missed entirely.

The law is 5/year with out license, thought hey don't get mad at your or fine you until you hit 7.

Nah, I'm sticking with the APR tune. My buddies own 3werks, and blackforest is right down the road from me (both APR retailers and tuners), and they've had more luck with APR than any other chip... The KO4 is already in there :-)
Only big thing I'm doing to this is a front mount and a downpipe for now.
