It's really really easy to bake them open.
But if you aren't interested, our install services are $200 + shipping back and forth.
Parts not included.

I had angel eyes on my IS300. Best show bang for the the buck mod out there. Easy to install. Plus you get to paint the inside of the lights while you do it?!

Maybe I should do this. I think they look great and my clear lense fogged up a bit when I painted the inside due to not letting them dry. I could wipe them down and have them clear again as well as get angel eyes.

You can get rid of the amber. You can delense the turn signal. Lots of good stuff.

I'll keep that in mind, after you bake them and open the lights how do you seal them

Also a good idea. Mine has tint over the amber so that would be unnecessary.

When I opened mine, I sealed them by baking the parts in the oven and then pressing them back together. Do a search for my thread on blackening headlight chrome trim for details on this process.

So then it would be $359.99 plus tax plus shipping to and from you?

So shipping ground would be roughly 20-30 dollars altogether.

So about..... $460ish for all of this?

It isn't hard to open them yourself man. Save yourself the money and buy another mod. The only real issue is resealing them correctly.

Exactly. We have performance shops out here that wont open the head lights just because its a pain to close them. If they dont want to pick up a job like this then I know I would mess it up. I just dont want sitting water and condensation in the head lights if I do it myself. Way to risky.

And that isn't really an issue if you really warm them up well to close them.

yes, if you didn't want to touch it yourself.
$149 for product
$250 for work
shipping from us is always $7.

Waiting for the wife's school refund then will buy

Question, how are they held on to the lights? With clips? Secondly, do you need to drill a hole to run the wires out of the light, or do you use a preexisting hole? Obviously this needs to be sealed as well?

Quite a few things that should be covered before people buy them imo. Not to say that you're being shady or anything, but informing people before they buy it.

they are friction fit, but we also include DS tape and some recommendations for glue (which we've found very effective).

You do not "need" to drill a hole, but it's advisable.

All our grills are made to order.

As a favor, you are welcome to post links to anyone and anywhere at any time. Please refrain from doing so on our threads. This is poor form.

Please edit your post.

Since you did post the link, the angel eyes there are:
LED - not bright
Blue - pull me over blue
Shaped weird - doesn't look right
did I mention not bright

Jsmithsole was responding to someone stating that Chern should get a set of halos and he posted a link (as is common practice on the Org) to the thread indicating that he already has them. Are you that insecure b/c another company is providing the same service/product as you? Also, since this is "your" thread, could you please show me where in the Maxima.org forum rules that adding such a link to "your " thread is in violation of the Org rules? Relax; life is too short to be such a whiner.

Sorry, are you an admin? Moderator?

What's common practice on the 30+ forums we sponsor is that you post your links and thoughts about competing products elsewhere, it's just good etiquette.

---------
Seeing as you you need a further edumacation, the product isn't the same, nor is the service the same (especially not in quailty), nor is it as bright, as discussed earlier.

no hard feelings, let's just focus on discussing the product and avoid the politics.

would it be possible to get this done in a "pull me over type of blue" but still be as bright as the white ones ?

I'll be ordering in the next three days.

Just so all of you know, this company has been at the front of the angel eyes scene for a very long time. I had their product on my IS300 and it was phenomenal. DDE's truly set the car apart.

I will have to hear from fellow member if and when they purchase a set for their cars, and THEN I may consider these, as I'm not to sure of myself on
