The bumpers metal part.

O.K. If the plastic piece is the bumper cover then is the metal peice the bumper? Or is the whole assembly the bumper? And last but not least how much would shoud a used oem metal peice cost? (For a third gen Max)

Metal piece is "Bumper Reinforment" and plastic is "Bumper Cover" they're both sold separately. OEM used at junk yard is roughly 25-35 for EACH. I got mine new at http://certifit.com/ and its the biggest POS because the metal is like a coke can, super thin and flimsy and doesnt hold my fogs without them vibrating.

Page 176 is for 3rd gen.

Thanx I've heard that before o.k. I had a guy come looking for one today after he paid me for some headlights, marker lights and a grill he ask me how much I wanted for that peice. I never sold that peice b4 so I didn't know. When my truck man comes and hauls away my carcuses that peice is usually the last thing I see when the truck rounds the corner. lol.

Those big bolts on the ends of the "re-bar" are a pain 2 come out. I had to get pole about ten feet long and put it on end of the rachet get them loose.

I just torched them up for like 5 min each on my g.fs max and used a 12in pipe on the breaker bar and they came loose.

On my car I used my 375lb torque impact and I wasnt able to get it out. used breaker bar and like before and couldnt. I just went to Car X by my house...the guys there were bored and gave me a hand with their tools. Got the bolts out after 10 minutes of trying, in exchange they asked for a 12pack of Heineken which I brought after putting car back together
