shifter diameter?

What is the diameter of the bolt that holds the shift ****? Is it 10mm?

I used 2" lucite rod, drilled almost all the way to the top at an angle so the effective shifter length is shorter (poor man's STS) and the **** meets my hand exactly. Shaped on a belt sander and hand polished. Made it for comfort but it looks ok, certainly unique.
