My stock brakes look ugly under my Enkei wheels, and performance is mediocre. They also fire brake dust ALL OVER the place.

I'm looking for brakes that:

1. Perform well
2. Look awesome
3. Have low dusting

What should I get?

Could I install them myself? I'm a little dumb, but not extremely dumb.

Easy stuff man!

Get some painted cross drill brake discs (they look better than slotted). They are better for street use.

Then get some cool brake pads. The pads that have color on them. so when they are installed, they will have a reddish color on the calaiper.

huh?

ooooook...well actually i would go with a slotted rotor. i have x-drilled and from what i've read and through discussions on here they aren't really primary for street use. as far as pads go, i am using axxis metalmasters and at first the dusting was minimal but as the pads started to wear the x-drilled have added the cheese grater effect and dusting is up a bit but tolerable.

Just looked. What is the deal on the "full brake kit" ? Are those stillen rotors? What about the pads? Lots of dusting? I hate dust.

What about performance?

Looks like it doesn't include calipers like the Fastbrakes kit. This true? My stock calipers are really ugly and would look very a$$ on those rotors.

Also noticed your 5th gen kit has no rear rotors.

I know what you mean. I just put on my Enkei rims and the calipers and the rotors are disgusting! Rust and brake dust all over my rims.

I think im going to get the cadium either slotted or cross drill or maybe both later on this month.

I think there is no real way to get away from heavy dusting unless you go with carbonfiber but they'll eat up your rotors. I have the Still cross-drilled rotors and Matrix pads and my wheels look like gunmetal grey. They have good stopping power too. Much better than stock.

No offense, but did you actually read the text? The first line states, "Stillen cross drilled rotors for the front and rear, Axxis Metal Master brake pads front and rear.. " This will answer your first question.

Any brake pad will create dust, some more than others, some less. The Axxis will be less than stock.

No, these do not include calipers since they are stock-size replacements. If you want larger calipers, you'll have to go with a big brake kit. Be ready to shell out $1600+ for *just* the front.

The 5th gen rotors are the same as the fourth. I forgot to update that.. my bad.

Phuong, the stock 4th gen and 5th gen rotors are different. The are the same diameter, but different thickness.

The rear rotors are the same, per Mike @ Stillen's Brake Division.
