I am looking to purchase a Stillen intake for my 97 SE and the best price I can find is $159. Has anyone heard of, or found a better price. Thanks for the help!

Anything more than $70 for a simple pop-charger is a rip off IMHO. I payed $49.95 for my pop-charger w/velocity stack off ebay. It has surgical cotton w/metal mesh, and is workin' great.

I just put in a K&N drop in. I notice an increase in throttle response as well as midrange power. If your tight with money go with it. I dont know how much of a difference can be noticed with a JWT intake or Stillen intake though.

That's the best price I've heard. If you want the Sillen then I would jump on it. I love mine on my 95 $E. Sounds great, looks good, and added to the top end - didn't do anything for the low end, but I don't think any pop charger really will.

The quality of the filter and velocity stack is higher with the STillen or JWT. Those generic RS Akimoto or Weapon R products are inexensive cuz they are cheap materials.

if you are welling to spend up to 150..why not go for warpspeed cai? hehe.... and when u have money just change the filter...no biggy =P ju my opinion.... since the regular intake is kinda the same to me...don't think paying 150 for the name is worth it. and most of all... people ain't going to see it? hehe...

The reason stillen and jwt is most wanted over the cai because it is a very easy installation. Many people would go near there car with a bunch of keys in their hand, why the hell will they drill a hole?
Now, were left with stillen and jwt. everyone says it the same sh*t. stillen got better looks and is a more popular brand for only bout $50 more. If u go up to a guy with a civic and tell him u got "Jim Wolf Intake". He will say , " WHO THE F^CK IS JIM WOLF" If u say you got a Stillen Hi Flow intake, He will say, OH SH^T!"
