I'm trying to sell my Team Loco wheels and I'm gonna put them in the paper. I want to list the cars these wheels will fit in my ad. I know they'll work on the 95-00 Eclipse and Talon. What else? Biomax said his autocross wheels (K-1s) will swap on to his new car (MR2).

Just match the bolt pattern (5x112.5) with the offset to the other car to see if it will fit.

I'm sure Tirerack (www.tirerack.com) will answer any questions regarding wheel fitment patterns to any car.

Newer accords and Acura CL, TL, RL->

I think it will fit those. Wheels are easy to sell. The problem are the tires. Maxima size tires will be too large for most other cars.

try www.tsw.com

Their wheel application guide will give necessary info to match them up.

From the top of my head teh bolt pattern fits:
Honda Accord (most recent models)
Toyota Camry, Supra, Solara, MR2, Celica (some)
Nissan Maxima, 300zx, 240sx
Infiniti I30, J30, Q45 (M30?)
DSM 3000GT/Stealth, Talon/Eclipse/Laser
Ford Mustang?
Mazda RX7

i think a cheap alternative to track rims would be 17x8 Mustang GT rims, those are pretty light imho, and they're freakin cheap. if you check recycler.com, i 've seen a set of 4 go for like $300 or less

Re: Mustang Rims

30mm offset, centerbore is larger so don't worry about it. Just becarefull when tightening the lugs. Make sure they center as best you can.
3-gens can tolerate less offset than 4-gens. But I think it would work fine on 4-gens if you use 235-45-17

Yes. I was close to buying some Nissan centercaps from a boneyard but at the last minute, he only wanted to sell the wheels and caps together.

That looks very nice...

Do you have lowering springs on there as well? I think I want to get a set of those... If I got the silver ones, it wouldn't be too hard to use body filler to fill the horse logo and paint the caps. Otherwise I have three sets of Nissan wheels I could pull centers off and see if they fit.

Anyway, what springs and tires do you use? Is the ride much more harsh than stock? Trying to have at least ONE car that doesn't ride bad...

Re: That looks very nice...

Eibach/Tokicos. 235-45-17 Firestone SZ50. Rides really well suprisingly. Not at all harsh. Yes, hitting a pothole will be a bit jarring but it's not bad at all. I'm 32 years old so I also will NOT put up w/ severly lowered cars or a overly harsh ride. hope this helps

Thanks...

Yes, that helps a lot. I really like the clean look of your car with those wheels - reminds me of a BMW 750 Sport. I will shoot for the same effect, but my car is blue so there will be a heavier contrast.

Thanks,

Jacob

That looks pretty nice!
There are Cobra rims and knockoffs available all over.
Now that's a new set to consider over the 300zx and RX-7...
As far as offset goes, can a 4th gen handle 30mm?

Damn.. Jeff92se, those look absolutely awesome on your car. I would almost put a set on my 97 if they didn't have those damn horse caps. Anyone know how much custom center caps run?

some knockoff wheels come w/plain caps

I'm sure that a mustang owner with plains would swap

Thanks. I get ridiculed daily for those caps. I think Eben was 1st! Most people in Seattle just go WTF?!?! Anyway I compared the diameter of the centercaps(mustang vs nissan) They are exactly the same. BUT.. the way they *CLIP* OR *snap* into the wheel is slightly different. But I think if you do some minor mods on the Nissan cap, it would fit. BUT don't quote me on this. I also think the Mustang GT wheels will fit on a 4-gen fine. I know one other guy that is using a similar combo w/ no problems. Since he's not replying to this thread, he must want not want to be mentioned. Any GT rim from 95+ will fit. That includes the Cobra rim that is 17x8. BUT NOT ANY OF THE CORBA R rims. WAY to wide.

I agree with Jeff -->

(how often does that happen? in a non-Amsoil post)

Anyway, the 4th gens have a good bit more clearance in the wheel well area than 3rd gens, especially when lowered.

I suspect the Mustang rims will fit just fine....

BTW Jeff, my Borbets are 16 x 7.5 with 215/55 tires....I can't imagine even going with 225 tires in the back...I was messing with the rear tires yesterday, and I couldn't get a finger between the inside sidewall and the shock!
