Hey guys, need help on this one, the box that I got the patch cables didn't really help with any info so I need some help on this. I got Rockford Fosgate Stealth RCA Patch Cables for my Amp to hookup to my Headunit. But there's a third wire attached to the Patch Cable, it looks to me like just a regular open end ground wire, so what should i do with it? should i ground it to the chasis? or should i just leave it the way it is? TIA

Hey I've added a link to show the the patch cable that i have and the third wire I'm talking about. Please anybody with input please post. Thanks.

Well, some people use that as the remote turn on wire, but unless you want engine noise, dont use it. ground both ends of that wire to the car.
