Cutting the springs defeats the purpose of byinh h&r springs... why not just go with sprint is you want to get your car lower? i had a friend do it on his prelude and it seems okay..

 

You could try clamping them first to see how it feels/looks and get a lot more use/resale value on the springs uncut when or if you decide to gew trid of them. Much more inexpensive way of changing the ride height.

 

well i already bought the springs and i like the drop and all but i want it maybe a lil lower and im not gonna go buy a whole new set of springs...ya know

 

sell em and buy the sprints if u want a lower ride.

 

lol....yeaa, sell em to me for a decent price and ask your friend to put em on for me.......then buy sprints and get em put on but your friend again.

 

correct me if im wrong but arent sprints cheaper anyway??? he wouldn't lose much if anything bc of install prices?
