Remove the stock shift ****. Measure the shifter shaft diameter. Drill a hole of that size to the center of a golf ball. Cement it on the shifter shaft. I like it because it is distinctive and inexpensive.

Re: Distinctive and inexpensive

The VW golf VR6's have shift ***** that resemble golf ***** . I have a black momo race air leather aluminum **** with a momo universal leather shift boot. I prefer round shift ***** and it matches my black GXE.

Alluminum on Black leather momo combat shift ****! It fit's your hand like a glove and looks awesome. I bought mine new on ebay about 8 months ago for like $46, which is a lot better thern $80-90 locally.

I whould think a golf ball whould be kinda slippery when you are in a heated race?

I don't have a picture. Besides, I did this mod on a Sears riding lawnmower. I like my stock Maxima shifter **** just as it is!
