I looked into the threads but I didn't see a specific model #. Just that there were 9004's (I think)

I'd like to grab them since they are so cheap. Also, do they sell the side lights also (when you turn your blinker on?) I don't have Fog's yet, so I'm not concerned with that.

Yes, all you ask for is 9004 Blue Visions. The 9004 bulbs is one of many types of bulbs, but is the only one that will fit in your Maxima (at least in its stock form). A 9004 Blue Vision is as specific as you can get and that is exactly what you need in a 1996 Maxima. Just trying to help.

 

I just picked up a pair yesterday at Kmart. $9.88 per bulb. On the package the part number is 9004BV.
