If the 9K figure is canadian then that works out to be approximately 6K US dollars. Kinda expensive but keeping your warranty now that may be worth it! Now if we could find dealers like this here in the US.

Those prices seem very high...I also don't know how they can back the warrentys when nissan as a company is the one that has the final say so. Meaning if somthing blows cuz of the sc and your dealer sends it in and tells them why it blew nissan will not honor the warrenty. But i may be wrong. It just seems odd.

So the grand total is the $6900 + 9194? or just 9194?

Let me know ASaP .. getting very interested if it's the 9194!

Grand Total: $9,194.25

Don't forget to mention to Greg that you're from the Maxima forum.

They may be ready to BS Nissan (not a good idea cause then ALL your waranty work gets scrutinized), the price is so high that they won't get any customers (10K canadian is some serious dough... 10K$ + 1 2001 Maxima = BMW 3 series, A4...)

Finally they may be so competant that they know what they are doing and they know that they will set the thing up properly.

Well, I am off to get a 6/49 ticket so I can pay for it.

But looking at thier website was certinaly interesting.... 34000$ for a 2002 SE! I may just have to swing by the dealer tonight.

Yeah Bramirez .. u may want 2 inform everyone or actually delete this post ...

If Nissan Canada finds out ... this dealership is screwed!!! Nissan Canada will ask 4 the dealership to provide physical evidence of all warranty claims ... do yourself a favour if u r planning on getting a SC done there ... delete this ... sorry that I asked u 2 publish this b4 ... Bert is right ...

Bert ... the SE pricing is different 4 the 2002 ... ours included e/t .. i.e. we had no options ... in the 2002 model year .. there are a lot of options .. which are not cheap ... $34k is for a base SE

if u want leather .. tack on $3k .. if u want sunroof .. another $1k ...

that's $38K for the equivalent 2002 max .. granted there's a lot more HP .. but I'm at about 240-250 HP now with my SI & y-pipe .. not dynoed though .. this is per Cattman & Stillens claims & what others have said online ... & I only paid $450 USD for these mods ...

This is probably a dealer offered warranty, similar to buying extended warranty online. So for the premium that you pay them in advance, they will cover any expenses following. I'm sure that Nissan doesn't get billed at all. After all, they just took a couple grand from you already whether you come down with problems or not.

My $.02.

If you do the math you will realize that you would not pay much more than in the US. BTW, the $9,000.00 and change are canadian funds. Labour is about $1,000.00 and SC is $4,350.00 (or so) US -Stillen Price-. Switched to Canadian funds, comes to $6,742.00 plus 15% taxes comes to about $9,000. For exact figures see beginning of thread.

What I believe is that they do the job right the first time so people don't have to be coming back for repairs. Which ever way it works for them I'm glad to know that they will mod your ride without cancelling your warranty

exactly

the warranty work that would be related to the SC would likely be covered by the dealership.
