Got an 87 maxima. Is it possible and legal to remove the bumper and find a completely different front spoiler for the car. If so, how might i go about doing it and if not, what front spoiler might fit from the the top of the bumper down. The spoiler made for the 87 maxima starts way under the bumper. I would like to get something completely different and shave the spoiler to make it fit. Not sure how to go about it though.

you can buy the front spoilers online. Check out car parts.com You take your old bumper cover off and put these on in place.
