All yall do is bit#h because you aint see no pictures.

Here is the link of them installed.

http://www.geocities.com/dsuthar/2k2lights/

The pic labels lightmodification.jpg, shows where that I had bang with the hammer the body of the car to make the light fit, also had to remmove that white clip on the bottom to make it fit also.

Anyone else wanna flame because they never believed me can flame on, why not come to DC so you can bring it to my face.

So you think I deleted you post? Why don't you check the "Redline ATF" post and see where the thread starter's post is?

Do that and come back here so we can have a discussion.

Well, it isn't their fault either because the server didn't come through with the post. We are all experiencing the same problems as you are so there's no need to get so hostile because of crap like that.

So... who's this "Bit#h A$$ admin" you're talking about?

Listen its all good, I call truce if you do. Lets just say that I got the joint installed, but it aint a easy install.

Plus there is still a problem because you cant flicker highbeams because the relay turns off the HIDS everytime you turn on the highbeams. I will have to invent a wiring relay for that.

But still dont know if it was worth all of this crap.

How did you wire it? Did David B provide some connectors and you rig it up?

Like $435. Because it was extra for the plug and connectors.

Good job with the HAMMMNER! That'll fix it. I like guys who don't give a F*CK and just pull out a club and start wailing.

Yes, they're the other-side of the plug with the cut wires. Then you have to splice into those.

All of the sudden this thread went from to . Big Dog and Ice I think you two are the only ones to try this (i think there is one other)and all I got to say is thanks for being the "ginea pigs," (for lack of a better word) pioneers if you will, on this 2k2 headlight install. Your efforts are very much appreciated, not only by me but as well as others (i'm sure) who are waiting to see if they should get their 2k2 headlights. Good job on the install.

Wow...looks better in the shots than in person. I saw those on a 2002 near my house, but the round lights just didn't seem right. But on the black car, kinda looks sporty. I wonder how good on a white 2000?

Btw, my local dealer can get me the 2002 rear (which I think would match my white car better than the red ones I have) for $175 each. Does that sound about right? If I don't wanna screw it up, how much you think a job like that would cost for them to do?

To fix the HID problem when you put on the high beams would a relay (power on high beam side ground path, relay switch in parallel with the low beam ground side) work? This way, when thw high beam is energized, the relay would close and provide a ground path for the HIDs as well, keeping them lit.

DaveB sells them for $104 and some change a piece. The install's pretty easy so save your money and do it yourself.

Folllow up on HID relay

Looking a little closer, the relay should be as follows:

Currently, headlight terminal #1 is highbeam ground and goes to terminal #6 on light switch. Terminal #2 is lowbeam ground and goes to terminal #7 on light switch.

With HID's:

Highbeam ground to terminal #1 of Nissan relay (normal open) and #2 of relay to terminal #6 on light switch. HID ground directly to terminal #7 on light switch. Also, from HID ground to terminal #5 of relay. Terminal #3 of relay to terminal #6 on light switch.

When HIDs on, relay is open.

With highbeam on, relay closes and ground for HID connected, allowing HIDs to remain on.

Need to check to be sure current flow with bot HIDs and highbeam are within limits of light swirch.

Yeah find this out for me, cause I dont want to screw up the balast if I end up flickering my highbeams to get some fruitcake to get out my lane.

I also think the pricing will go UP. That's why I bought them already.
